Your Property Deserves a Manager Who’s Still Here Tomorrow

If you owned a property managed by Mt. Baker Lodging, the last few months have been more than inconvenient; they’ve been a breach of trust.

You entered into a business relationship built on the assumption that your property would be cared for, your guests would be served, and your revenue would flow reliably. That assumption was violated, not by anything you did, but by circumstances outside your control.

Before anything else: we’re sorry that happened to you. Now, let’s talk practically about what comes next.

What Owners Should Do First

  1. Secure your property. If you haven’t done a recent walkthrough, do one. Confirm the home is in the condition you expect. Inventory linens and any maintenance items. If you need a trusted local contact to do a walkthrough on your behalf, our team is available.
  2. Understand your financial picture. Review any future reservations that may have been booked through MBL platforms. If guests paid and you haven’t received those funds, document the discrepancy. You may need this information for creditor proceedings.
  3. Pause before committing to a new manager. We know the instinct is to move quickly, and we understand why, but this is a decision worth taking seriously. A management company isn’t just a service provider. They become the steward of your asset, your reputation, and your guest relationships. Choose with clarity, not urgency.

Why Luxury Getaways

We’ve been managing homes in Glacier since 2008 and we’ve been through it all. From ski seasons and wildfire closures, to pandemic disruptions and peak summers. We’re still here because we’ve built a company on financial discipline, operational transparency, and genuine care for the properties we represent.

A few things that distinguish how we work:

We follow strict trust accounting practices. Owner funds are never commingled. Payouts
are timely, accurate, and documented. Your money is yours.

We hold properties to a consistent standard. Before any home enters our program, we conduct a walkthrough and assessment. We have linen standards, photography standards, and hospitality standards, all because we know that one underperforming property affects the reputation of every property we manage.

We are SuperHost on Airbnb and Premier Host on VRBO. These designations are proof that our properties perform. Many of our homes generate six figures annually.

We are local. Our office is at 10005 Mt. Baker Highway, Glacier, WA. When something happens, we respond promptly. Not from a call center in another state. From here.

We are financially stable. We say this not to boast, but because it matters. You deserve a management partner who will still be operating next year.

How the Onboarding Process Works

We don’t rush this. Here’s what to expect:

Mt. Baker Rim — forested, peaceful, and close to the ski area
Snowline Community — a favorite for families and groups
Snowater — a resort community with easy access to the mountain
Glacier Springs — quiet, wooded, and deeply private
Silver Lake — waterfront cabins with the kind of stillness that’s hard to find anywhere

We earn your trust through open dialogue, transparency, and follow-through. That’s not a tagline — it’s how we’ve operated for 18 years.
